The companies want to expand their digital asset management services as part of a strategic partnership.

The listed company Lloyd Fonds is acquiring a 17.75 percent stake in the fintech Growney. The capital increase and investment must still be approved by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority.

"The collaboration enables Growney to enter into exciting new cooperations with major partners, so that we can expand our market position as a leading independent digital asset management company in a targeted manner and strongly accelerate further growth," says Growney founder and main shareholder Gerald Klein. The Hamburg-based stock exchange company Lloyd Fonds plans to use the strategic cooperation to expand its AI investment advisory service Laic into the new Llyod Digital business segment.

Growney was founded in 2014 and is a digital asset manager. Private and corporate clients can use Growney to invest money for retirement provision, as a savings plan, company reserve or one-off amount and also invest in sustainable ETFs. The fintech is growing rapidly and has almost tripled its assets under management since the beginning of the year.
