As part of a strategic partnership, the companies want to expand their digital asset management services.

The listed company Lloyd Fonds is taking a 17.75 percent stake in the fintech Growney. The capital increase and investment is still subject to approval by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority.

"The collaboration will enable Growney to enter into exciting new collaborations with major partners, allowing us to selectively expand our market position as a leading independent digital asset management company and strongly drive further growth," said Growney founder and principal shareholder Gerald Klein. The Hamburg-based stock exchange company Lloyd Fonds plans to expand its AI investment advisory service Laic into the new business segment Llyod Digital through the strategic cooperation.

Growney was founded in 2014 and is a digital asset manager. Private and corporate customers can invest funds through Growney for retirement, as a savings plan, corporate reserve or one-off amount, also investing in sustainable ETFs. The fintech is growing fast and has almost tripled the assets it manages since the beginning of the year.
