Marcus Diekmann joins Dermanostic

The digital expert is the new consultant for the online dermatology practice. The new focus will be on artificial intelligence.

Healthtech Dermanostic has a new consultant in the form of digital expert Marcus Diekmann. With his experience from the e-commerce scene and management, he will support the four-member founding team, according to the start-up. Diekmann is a shareholder and advisory board member at Rose Bikes and founded the Founders League, an interactive live show for start-ups, at the beginning of the year.

He sees the online dermatology practice as an opportunity to make society a little bit better: "Especially in the area of cost savings," he says. "Treatment costs will multiply greatly in the coming years due to demographic change." Dermanostic offers an alternative here through remote medical diagnosis, which it says saves time and money.

Since entering the market in 2020, Dermanostic says it has treated 100,000 patients. Diekmann will focus on artificial intelligence, which will be at the heart of business development in the coming years.
