The Berlin-based company is also taking over its North American competitor MomentFeed. The company now wants to acquire new customers in the USA and Canada.

The Berlin-based marketing start-up Uberall has closed its Series C financing round with 95 million euros. The money comes from growth financier Bregal Milestone from London, Level Equity from New York and 1&1 parent company United Internet from Montabaur. "Thanks to our strategic investment, Uberall can now achieve its goal of becoming the world's leading platform provider for the Near Me Customer Experience even faster," says Cyrus Shey, Managing Partner of Bregal Milestone.

Uberall offers a platform for targeted advertising, including a "Near Me" function that uses geo-targeting to attract consumers to the advertising company. "After a year and a half marked by the pandemic and lockdowns, consumers are finally returning to the stores. Right now, it is important for companies to be able to meet growing customer expectations in terms of the physical shopping experience and the associated customer service," says Florian Hübner, co-founder and CEO of Uberall.

At the same time, Uberall announces that it has signed an acquisition agreement with its American competitor MomentFeed. MomentFeed and Uberall's customers include brands such as BP, KFC, Marks and Spencer, McDonald's and Pizza Hut. Together, the companies already serve more than 1.35 million business locations. "When the trend in the market began to shift from stand-alone solutions to platform solutions, we shortlisted several companies. Uberall was definitely our first choice," says Nick Hedges, CEO of MomentFeed. "This merger represents a tremendous strategic advantage for our clients, who are among the Who's Who of leading omnichannel companies in the US." Hedges will join Uberall's executive team as Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President North America, where he will lead Uberall's North American business unit.
