Head of Marketing leaves Gorillas

Gorillas brought Luanne Calvert on board just three months ago. Now she is parting ways with the start-up.
According to information from Gründerszene Luanne Calvert has left the fast delivery service Gorillas. She took up her position as Head of Marketing just three months ago. According to the start-up, her role will now be shared among the management.
"After an exciting time at Gorillas, I have come to the realization that the role of an internal CMO in a high-growth start-up is not for me at this point in my career," she told Gründerszene. Before joining Gorillas, Calvert was responsible for marketing at companies such as Walmart, Virgin and Yahoo. From 2002 to 2006, she also ran her own company called Mixed Marketing.
Several managers have already left Gorillas after only a short time. In January 2021, less than a year after the start-up was founded, co-founder Jörg Kattner left. Managing Director Felix Chrobog left the company after six months. Chief Commercial Officer Ronny Gottschlich and Head of Technology Ronny Shibley each stayed for one year.
