Gorillas brought Luanne Calvert on board just three months ago. Now she's parting ways with the startup.

According to information from Gründerszene Luanne Calvert has left the fast delivery service Gorillas. She had taken up her position as head of marketing only three months ago. According to the start-up, her task will now be divided among the management.

"After an exciting time at Gorillas, I came to the realization that the role of an internal CMO at a high-growth startup is not for me at this point in my career," she tells Gründerszene. Prior to joining Gorillas, Calvert was responsible for marketing at companies including Walmart, Virgin and Yahoo. She also ran her own company called Mixed Marketing from 2002 to 2006.

Already, several managers left Gorillas after only a short time. In January 2021, not even a year after the start-up was founded, co-founder Jörg Kattner left. Managing Director Felix Chrobog left the company after six months. Chief Commercial Officer Ronny Gottschlich and Chief Technology Officer Ronny Shibley each stayed for one year.
