metr closes Series A round with 6 million
The company metr has closed a Series A financing round of six million euros. Metr is a solution provider for a sustainable and digital real estate industry.
With this round, metr aims to develop further digital solutions for a sustainable real estate industry and expand its team. The company offers data-driven solutions for technical building services, including partner integrations. metr's intelligent platform enables the real estate industry to manage various solutions via a central dashboard and increase the energy efficiency of buildings.
In this way, we will continue to digitize the real estate industry and thus come closer to our goal of significantly reducingCO2 emissions from buildings

In addition to remote monitoring of heating and drinking water systems, metr has launched an AI-supported heating optimization system. Not least because of this, the young company was able to triple its customer base and win over investors. The new investors in metr are the WIKA Group, the BraWo Group and Mujinzo Labs GmbH. Existing investors such as NBT AG and early business angels also increased their investments in this round.
metr convinced us with its solutions, but above all with its platform. After all, data transparency is the basis for efficiency gains.

metr was founded in 2016 by Dr. Franka Birke and Philipp Pausder. The idea behind the company is to develop data-driven solutions for a sustainable and digital real estate industry. The aim was to reduce the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of buildings and thus make a contribution to climate protection.
