Moss raises 75 million euros

Following the current financing round, the total valuation rose to half a billion euros. Moss launched in mid-2020 with a corporate credit card for German start-ups and digital companies.

Moss has closed a Series B financing round in the amount of 75 million euros. The American venture capital company Tiger Global Management led the round, while A-Star was a new investor. Existing investors such as Valar Ventures, Cherry Ventures and Global Founders Capital have also reinvested in the start-up. The financing round increased the total capital to 130 million euros and the total valuation of the start-up is now half a billion euros.

Moss intends to use the fresh capital to expand into the UK in the coming months. Other markets are to follow in the course of the year. In addition, the product, a platform for corporate expense management, is to be further developed. "There is a strong desire in the market to further digitalize and automate financial processes and payments. With our solution, we want to help companies realize their full potential. This vision drives us every day and motivates us to think Moss one step further," says co-founder and Managing Director Ante Spittler.

Spittler, Anton Rummel, Ferdinand Meyer and Stephan Haslebacher founded Moss in Berlin in 2019. Customers can use Moss as a complete solution for their expense management or put together an individual solution from various modules. Among other things, the start-up offers digital and physical company credit cards and tools for recording invoices, settling employee expenses and managing liquidity. In addition to Germany, Moss is also active in the Netherlands.
