After the current financing round, the total valuation rose to half a billion euros. Moss launched in mid-2020 with a corporate credit card for German startups and digital companies.

Moss has closed a Series B funding round of 75 million euros. U.S. venture capital firm Tiger Global Management led the round, with A-Star joining as a new investor. Existing investors such as Valar Ventures, Cherry Ventures and Global Founders Capital also re-invested in the startup. The total capital increased to 130 million euros as a result of the financing round, and the start-up's total valuation now stands at half a billion euros.

With the fresh capital, Moss plans to expand into the UK in the coming months. Other markets are to follow in the course of the year. It also aims to further develop its product, a corporate spend management platform. "There is a strong desire in the market to further digitize and automate financial processes and payments. With our solution, we want to help companies realize their full potential. This vision drives us every day and motivates us to always think Moss one step further," says co-founder and CEO Ante Spittler.

Spittler, Anton Rummel, Ferdinand Meyer and Stephan Haslebacher founded Moss in Berlin in 2019. Customers can use Moss as a complete solution for their expense management or put together an individual solution from various modules. The startup offers digital and physical corporate credit cards and tools for capturing invoices, accounting for employee expenses and liquidity management, among other products. In addition to Germany, Moss is also active in the Netherlands.
