Pliant has expanded its management team: Caroline Jenke is now taking over the position of Chief Legal Officer at the credit card start-up. According to information from Finance Forward Jenke will be responsible for legal affairs, compliance and internationalization at Pliant and will develop a white label offering for corporate customers.
Jenke previously held the position of Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer at FinTecSystems. She started there in June 2018 as Chief Legal Officer. For eight years, she also headed the legal department of Sofort, a Klarna payment service.
Malte Rau and Fabian Terner founded Pliant in Berlin in 2020. The start-up offers credit cards for companies. All expenses and receipts are collected in a management tool that can also be linked to existing accounting software and travel expense solutions. In addition, corporate customers receive cashbacks when paying with the card. In December of last year, Pliant expanded its seed financing round to 18 million euros. Alstin Capital, Embedded/Capital and the Main Incubator invested in the fintech (we reported).
