New capital for Forget Finance

The Berlin-based fintech has apparently raised a high seven-figure sum in a recent financing round.

According to Finance Forward, the digital financial advisor Forget Finance is said to have received a high seven-figure sum. However, the exact amount of the investment is not yet known.

The round is led by Btov and UVC Partners from Munich. Venture capitalist TA Ventures, which is also involved in the fintechs Sumup, Clark and Finimize, has also joined. Various business angels from the first round are also to be involved again. The two Interhyp founders Marcus Wolsdorf and Robert Haselsteiner are to invest again. Apparently, Personio founder Hanno Renner, Florian Brokamp from Thinksurance and Reiner Mauch have also invested.

Konradin Breyer and Jurek Herwig founded the investment fintech in 2020. Breyer was previously Head of Product at the fitness app Freeletics and Herwig was responsible for the Commerzbank app as Technical Director. The two founded the fintech to create an advisory service for millennials. "Millennials' trust in financial advisors is minimal - we want to revolutionize this industry," says Herwig.

The Forget Finance app relies on a hybrid advisory approach in which users can receive advice from both an AI bot and a real financial expert. The real financial advisors can be accessed as part of a monthly subscription model. Assets can also be managed via the app.
