New capital for Vitas

The Nuremberg-based start-up has convinced two new investors and raised six-figure funding.
The AI start-up Vitas has received new capital in the six-figure range in its second financing round, the company has announced. The start-up was able to gain Kybernautik Investments GmbH as an investor. The existing investor Müller Medien is also participating again. The company also received financial support from the Bavarian Start-up Shield program. The exact amount of the investment is not known, but is said to be in the six-figure range.
Founders Thomas Abend, René Straub and Tobias Bäumler have been working on the development of an intelligent telephone assistant since 2018. This should sound human and be able to answer standard questions and arrange appointments. The software's target group includes medical practices and the hospitality industry.
The company is now developing a software-as-a-service platform that companies can use to configure their own telephone assistant. No prior technical knowledge is required. "The decision to focus on an intuitive software-as-a-service platform for voice assistants has proven to be the right one and there is currently a massively high demand on the market," says co-founder Abend. The founders want to use the new capital to focus on expanding this platform.
