Neobank N26 has just raised 900 million dollars and now its Head of Treasury, Oliver Schreiber, is moving to the competition.

After five years as Head of Treasury at N26, Oliver Schreiber has moved to the Lithuanian direct internet bank Revolut. There, the business graduate will work as Head of Finance in the future, as reported by FWDFinance.

Schreiber is thus moving to the competition: N26 and Revolut compete with each other in the field of online financial services. According to the company, around 15 million private customers and 500,000 corporate customers in over 35 countries currently use Revolut's online accounts. Last year, the Lithuanian specialist bank also expanded into the United States.

Neobank N26 recently raised 900 million euros in a financing round(we reported). Founded in 2013 by Valentin Stalf and Maximilian Tayenthal, the Berlin-based start-up has more than seven million customers. Due to requirements imposed by Bafin, N26 will have to limit its number of new customers in Europe to between 50,000 and 70,000 in the coming months.
