Onaran releases his own documentary

Tijen Onaran wants to show what the path to more diversity could look like. The entrepreneur has now made a documentary for Amazon Prime.
The name says it all: "Yes she can - women change the world" aims to show that equal rights for women and men are not yet a reality in Germany, but that women in particular can rewrite the rules themselves. The initiator is entrepreneur and bestselling author Tijen Onaran. With her company Global Digital Women, she is committed to more diversity in the world of work: "Germany hasn't had an awareness problem for a long time, it simply lacks implementation," writes the company at the launch of the documentary.
Last year, Onaran noticed that there was no documentation on gender diversity in Germany. She pitched the idea to Amazon with her team from Global Digital Women and was accepted. The documentary has now been available on Amazon Prime for a few days. "I never thought we would produce our own documentary and we did it!" writes Onaran on Instagram.
In the documentary, the entrepreneur aims to provide facts and figures with personal stories. The cast includes Wiebke Ankersen, Managing Director of the AllBright Foundation, Anna-Lena von Hodenberg from HateAid, Linda Nübling, founder of Gurlz with Curlz and Janina Mütze, founder of Civey. The aim of the documentary is to "discuss in order to change", Onaran said on LinkedIn.
