Parliamentary group on founding and start-ups is formed

The cross-party parliamentary group in the Bundestag wants to improve the framework conditions for founders.
The parliamentary group "Foundation and Start-up" began its work last Friday. This was reported by the online magazine Starting up. The cross-party parliamentary group aims to pave the way for prospective founders and help start-ups find solutions to current challenges.
FDP MP Mario Brandenburg, SPD MP Ye-One Rhie, CDU MP Thomas Heilmann and Green MP Melis Sekmen initiated the informal committee. Max Mordhorst from the FDP was the first to chair the parliamentary group. The chairmanship is to rotate regularly between the participants.
"I want the cross-party parliamentary group to become an attentive point of contact for the concerns and needs of founders and start-ups," says Mordhost. "To achieve this, we need to talk to them directly. We must start with the framework conditions of venture capital, bureaucracy and employee capital participation."
