Payment license for Aifinyo

According to a media report, the financing start-up plans to launch a credit card and a business account this year.
The Dresden-based fintech Aifinyo has, according to Finance Forward received a license for financial transfer transactions from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority Bafin. This should enable it to trigger payments to its customers. The company would also like another license to enable business customers to handle financing matters and invoice processing via their own account.
According to the media report, Aifinyo now wants to launch a business account and a credit card this year. Companies and freelancers will then be able to manage their invoices via Aifinyo. Companies could obtain financing directly on the Aifinyo website.
The start-up recently raised around seven million euros as part of a capital increase. Carsten Maschmeyer's Paladin fund also invested in the company. Aifinyo operates a digital platform for financing solutions in the areas of factoring, finetrading, leasing and receivables management. The company is aimed at companies at all stages. The company's subsidiary, Aifinyo Finance GmbH, is a financial services provider regulated by Bafin and is supervised by the Bundesbank and Bafin.
