Penta apparently valued at more than 100 million euros

Penta raises money again. This time, 15 million euros have been added by existing investors, reports Finance Forward. This brings the total investment in the Berlin-based fintech to around 60 million euros. The company is now valued at more than 100 million euros, according to people close to the start-up, writes Finance Forward.
Penta offers accounts for small businesses and start-ups. The fintech also wants to target SMEs more specifically. The fees for the various accounts range from 9.90 euros to 49.90 euros. Penta abolished the free account last year. In February of this year, the fintech announced that 30,000 customers had an account with Penta. In the same month, Penta increased its Series B to 30 million euros. The latest round is led by ABN Amro Ventures from Amsterdam. Other investors include Finleap, HV Capital, RTP Global, Presight Capital S7V and VR Ventures. Markus Pertlwieser has been CEO of Penta since mid-February. He came from Deutsche Bank, where he was Head of Digital.
