The banking start-up receives a further 15 million euros from existing investors. This brings the total investment to just under €60 million.

Penta is raising money again. This time, 15 million euros are being added by existing investors, reports Finance Forward. This brings the total investment in the Berlin-based fintech to about €60 million. The company is thus valued at more than €100 million, according to sources close to the start-up, writes Finance Forward.

Penta offers accounts for small businesses and startups. The fintech also wants to target SMEs more specifically. Fees for the various accounts range from €9.90 to €49.90. Penta scrapped the free account last year. In February this year, the fintech said that 30,000 customers had an account with Penta. In the same month, Penta raised its Series-B to €30 million. The latest round is led by Amsterdam-based ABN Amro Ventures. Other investors include Finleap, HV Capital, RTP Global, Presight Capital S7V and VR Ventures. Markus Pertlwieser has been CEO of Penta since mid-February. He came from Deutsche Bank where he was head of digital.
