Prominent business angels support Forget Finance

Berlin-based fintech Forget Finance has raised 700,000 euros from various business angels. This is reported exclusively by FinanceFWD. The app, which the company plans to launch soon, creates an individual financial plan for users to save and invest. In the long term, it could also be used to sell its own financial products.

Half a dozen successful founders are supporting the fintech with a total six-figure sum. The start-up's app is designed to take financial planning off users' hands.

The Berlin-based fintech Forget Finance has raised 700,000 euros from various business angels. This is reported by FinanceFWD exclusively. The app, which the company plans to launch soon, creates an individual financial plan for users to save and invest. In the long term, it could also be used to sell its own financial products.

The business angels include Hanno Renner (co-founder and CEO of Personio), Sebastian Schuon (founder of Alasco), Patrick Andrä (founder and CEO of HomeToGo), Finanztip founder Marcus Wolsdorf, Forto founder Erik Muttersbach, Thinksurance founder Florian Brokamp and Munich-based early-stage investor Reiner Mauch.

Jurek Herwig and Konradin Breyer are behind Forget Finance, which was founded last May. Herwig was previously CTO at Berlin design studio Neugelb and Breyer was Head of Product at fitness provider Freeletics.
