Raisin Bank cooperates with Upvest

Raisin Bank is expanding its offering to include trading and asset management and is cooperating with Upvest for technical support. The partnership gives customers access to new investment opportunities.

Berlin/Frankfurt - Raisin Bank is expanding its business by partnering with Upvest, a Berlin-based fintech company, to offer trading, custody and wealth management services. Upvest will provide Raisin Bank with its investment API infrastructure, which covers the technical functions for brokerage, settlement and custody.

Together with Upvest, we will be able to further expand our business and gain new partners in the area of banking and custody as a service.

The integration of Upvest's API solution into Raisin Bank's existing core banking system enables the bank to offer different license and functional models for both fintechs and banks. As a first step, Raisin Bank plans to migrate the Raisin Invest ETF Robo, which accounts for a large part of its investment business of over EUR 1.5 billion, to Upvest's API infrastructure.

The partnership between Raisin Bank and Upvest opens up opportunities for the development of new business areas, including custody and digital asset management. This will complement the existing range of accounts and payment services.

Upvest's infrastructure is designed as a plug-and-play solution and integrated into Raisin Bank's core banking system to ensure secure and smooth processes for the new securities services offering. Raisin Bank clients will benefit from Upvest's investment infrastructure by being able to customize selected products and easily switch between different instruments.
