At the same time, the start-up announces a cooperation with Solarisbank and Visa.

The Berlin-based mobility start-up Rydes has once again expanded its seed financing round. In addition to previous backers Lufthansa and Forward31, Arabella Venture Capital and business angels Christoph Bornschein (TLGG), Johannes Reck and Javier Suarez (Travelperk) are now also investing.

Rydes, founded in 2021 by René Braun and Martin Miodownik, aims to offer companies a card that their employees can use to pay for various mobility services, such as public transport, cabs or bike sharing. Rydes is cooperating with Solarisbank and Visa for this card, as the company has now announced.

"The market for employee mobility is still in its infancy and the business idea - linking B2B offers, use of all means of transport and carbon offsetting with one card - is a sustainable approach with exemplary character," says Solarisbank COO Jörg Diewald in view of the cooperation.
