Sdui secures 25 million euros

Edtech from Koblenz offers an operating system for everyday education. Haniel, among others, has invested.
The German Edtech Sdui has raised 25 million euros in capital in a financing round. The start-up wants to use the funds to further develop an operating system for everyday digital education, expand its own product and expand, with a particular focus on other European countries.
Both existing investors and new investors have invested, as the start-up based in Koblenz announces. HV Capital and Haniel led the round, High-Techgründerfonds, among others, increased its investment and together they catapulted the valuation into the three-digit million range. Daniel Zacharias, founder and CEO of Sdui, said: "With revenue growth of more than 300% since the initial Series A in March 2021, Sdui has proven how much potential there is in our business model."
The start-up, which Zacharias founded in 2018, now comprises companies in Germany, Switzerland and Belgium and employs 170 people. The company has developed a platform that is used in schools and daycare centers and is intended to be used by teachers as well as parents and children. For example, they can use it to manage administrative tasks, chat, create a timetable or use a translation function.
