Tim Miller and Markus Dohm, Co-Founders Certif-ID

The startup has successfully completed a seed financing round of 1.6 million euros, led by NRW Bank and angel investors such as Andreas Weinberger, Malte Pollmann, Jörg Will and Michael Bernhörster. Together with the help of TÜV Rheinland, the company plans to use the funds for further expansion in Asia and Europe, as well as for the development of its platform.

About Certif-ID

Founded in 2020, the Cologne-based startup is a platform that combines education and employment with technical skills. Founders Tim Miller and Markus Dohm were moved by the inequality in educational opportunities between countries such as India and other countries. They founded the company to enable the verification of international education certificates. Certif-ID is a spin-off from the TÜV Rheinland Group's incubator program. The company offers CredSure, a SaaS platform for digitizing certificates, and TalentSure, a platform for connecting professionals with employers, streamlining recruitment processes and automation. The startup is known to a wider audience through German Accelerator, The HR Startup Award, Microsoft for Startups and Techboost Startup Telekom, among others.
