With an investment of 3 million euros, Crafthunt, Europe's largest career platform for the construction industry, plans to further expand its services and tap into new markets. The aim is to increase efficiency in the placement of skilled workers.

Munich, June 4, 2024 - Crafthunt, Europe's largest career platform for the construction industry, has successfully closed a seed funding round, raising €3 million from UVC Partners, Redstone and well-known angel investors. The German construction industry is struggling with an increasing shortage of skilled workers, which is likely to become even more acute over the next 15 years.

While the megatrends of the energy transition and smart cities are filling order books, the availability of suitable skilled workers continues to decline.

Crafthunt's solution approach

Crafthunt offers an app-based solution to this problem. The platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) for an automated matching system that places job offers with suitable talent in Germany and abroad. Companies can use meaningful profiles to raise awareness of their employer brand and present relevant information such as vacancies, languages spoken, machines and tools. The matching algorithm then finds the right skilled workers with the required knowledge and experience.

In order to solve the problem of skilled workers in Germany, we also need to attract talent beyond national borders.

Support for applicants

Applicants can find out about companies' prestigious projects, other professions in the company and important key data such as the distance to construction projects. This information and the chat between talents and companies are translated into 21 languages with the help of AI, making it easier for foreign specialists to access the German job market. Crafthunt guarantees talents new, validated job offers at least once a week.

The construction and real estate industry is facing major challenges. Crafthunt combines outstanding knowledge of the construction industry with advanced technology and AI skills.
