Slack with severe disruptions on Monday

The chat app Slack experienced massive disruptions on Monday. The outage came in the middle of the takeover by Salesforce.
At around 4 p.m. German time on Monday, the chat app Slack experienced a major outage. This is shown by a number of reports on the AlleStörungen.de website. Slack confirmed the disruption on Twitter: "Our team is on it and will keep you updated. Sorry for the disruption." The problems were resolved around two hours later.
Slack is used by many employees in Germany as a workspace. Employees working from home in particular were no longer reachable as a result. For many offices in Germany, the outage occurred shortly before closing time, but in the USA it happened at the start of the working day in the morning.
The disruptions came at the worst possible time for Slack. The chat provider announced in December that Salesforce was buying the company for 28 billion US dollars. Its biggest competitor is Microsoft Teams.
