Podwatch, Wundervoices and Sonarbird: Alex Jacobi dances at many weddings. These five programs help him stay on top of things.

Most people regularly feel overwhelmed when they have to juggle their job, children, family and friends in such a way that everyone gets a bit of attention. Alex Jacobi takes this to a new level and is the boss of four companies. With Love and Date is a communications agency, Sonarbird is a podcast company, Wundervoice is a sound recording company and he regularly publishes podcast rankings with Podwatch. To keep track, Jacobi sticks to Front, Beautiful.ai, 15five, Miro and Salesforce. Here he explains why he chose these programs in particular.

Mr. Jacobi, which is the most important tool for you? For me, it's Miro. I have the feeling that Miro creates a direct connection from my head to the computer. I'm always in a state of creative chaos - it allows me to visualize my jumbled thoughts, organize myself and ultimately communicate and collaborate. I am a very visual person. What used to be handmade sketches on paper are now digital mind maps on Miro.

Beautiful a.i is also on the list. Why do you use it? That brings us back to the topic of visuality. And my abysmal hatred of PowerPoint. I may be an audio person, but I firmly believe in the power of good images that burn themselves into your memory. With Beautiful.ai you can create good-looking presentations incredibly quickly. This is due to the ingenious system of templates, which are just the right combination of: fixed in design and flexible in message.

And what do you like about 15five? 15five is a performance management platform. From daily check-ins and surveys to OKRs and virtual high fives for successes - this platform is the pulse meter of our corporate culture. What makes the tool indispensable for me is the mindset behind it. 15five forces us to treat each other positively and with respect and to achieve our goals.

Salesforce is a classic tool. Why did it make your top 5 list? Salesforce is the central point for all our customer interactions, true to the motto "If it's not in Salesforce it didn't happen". We have mapped all business processes in Salesforce and automated some of them. We can see the status of all four companies in real time and also use the AI engines to predict sales, for example.

That leaves Front. Why is this an important tool? Front has solved the problem of email for us. It is essentially a shared email client. All emails that come in centrally via a central address can be seen by all team members and enable a smart, transparent workflow. Team members can work together on messages in real time, exchange content and distribute responsibilities and tasks. This has enabled us to reduce the well-known bottleneck problem.

Thank you for the interview.
