Synavision and Brunata-Metrona cooperate

Both companies want to reduce CO2 emissions from real estate. Now they are entering into a strategic partnership.

Synavision, a company active in the field of AI-supported optimization of building technology, has completed a Series A financing round. As part of the financing, the company was able to attract Brunata-Metrona Hürth for a seven-figure investment. Brunata-Metrona is a metering point service provider for consumption-based heating and water cost billing. In the strategic cooperation, both companies now want to utilize their synergies in the respective business areas.

"Our customers will benefit directly from the Synavision service platform," says Norbert Rolf, Managing Director of Brunata-Metrona Hürth. "The combination of analysis of technical systems in buildings, measurement and metering data as well as AI solutions makes it possible to quickly and effectively increase the sustainability of the real estate portfolio." Together, the two companies now offer ESG consulting and optimization services for real estate from a single source.

Founded in 2010 by researchers from TU Braunschweig and RWTH Aachen University, the company offers digital services and software for the quality management of building technology. According to Synavision, it has enabled savings of 585,000 tons of CO2 since it was founded. To date, the company has primarily supported customers in optimizing smart buildings. In future, however, the company also wants to optimize buildings where the technical requirements are still lacking.
