Thermondo expands management level

The company is expanding its management team with Madhu Nori as Chief Product Officer and René Bretschneider as Chief People & Sustainability Officer.

Heating start-up Thermondo has expanded its management team by five positions this year in order to set the course for further growth.

Madhu Nori has been the new Chief Product Officer (CPO) since October 4. Previously, Nori led a 130-strong team as CPO at Yoti, a start-up for digital ID cards. The company has appointed René Bretschneider, previously Senior Vice President Strategy & Business Development at Adidas, as its new Chief People & Sustainability Officer (CPSO).

Gerke Gersema also became Chief Operating Officer in May. Richard Lucht has been VP Brand & Communication since June and Sandra Raßfeld was appointed Chief Strategy Officer in July.

"We are now greener, bigger and hungrier than ever before," says Philipp Pausder, founder and CEO of Thermondo. "And that also applies to our management team." The company has entered a new phase of growth this year. "With each position, we have become even more professional and are working flat out to install 10,000 heat pumps by Christmas 2023," says Pausder.

Pausder founded Thermondo in 2013. According to the company, it now has 700 employees. To date, Thermondo has already replaced 30,000 heating systems in detached and semi-detached houses. The new heating systems have saved over 700,000 tons of CO2, according to the company. Thermondo wants to accelerate the switch to heat pumps in Germany and thus enable climate-friendly living.
