Tutorspace receives funding from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate

The Tutuorspace platform recorded a sharp increase in user numbers last year. It is now being supported by the Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz.
New investor for Tutorspace: Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz (ISB) is investing in the start-up from Ludwigshafen via a subsidiary. The money comes from the Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Fund II, which also contains money from the European Union.
Tutorspace offers a platform for pupils to find their perfect tutor. The more than 7,000 tutors can be filtered by distance, rating and price, for example.
Co-founder Patrick Nadler says: "Especially in the pandemic situation, our concept has proven itself and we are noticing how demand has increased due to the difficult situation for parents in homeschooling."
The investor is also convinced: "The development of user numbers shows that the platform offers the target group real added value," says Mike Walber, Head of Venture Capital, explaining ISB's involvement.
