The Tutuorspace platform saw a sharp increase in user numbers last year. Now it is being supported by Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz.

New investor for Tutorspace: the Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz (ISB) is taking a stake in the start-up from Ludwigshafen via a subsidiary. The money comes from Rhineland-Palatinate's Innovation Fund II, which also contains money from the European Union.

Tutorspace offers a platform for students to find their perfect tutoring. For example, the more than 7,000 tutors can be filtered by distance, rating and prices.

Co-founder Patrick Nadler says, "Especially in the pandemic situation, our concept has proven itself and we're noticing how demand has picked up because of the difficult situation homeschooling parents are in."

The investor is also convinced: "The development of user numbers shows that the platform offers real added value to the target group," says Mike Walber, head of venture capital, the commitment of the ISB.
