Uptodate expands its management team

Christian Geiling comes from Uptodate's parent company and will be responsible for improving cooperation between the start-up and Versicherungskammer, among other things.

Uptodate is expanding its management team at the beginning of next month: Christian Geiling will join the team of Managing Director Jessica Schneider and Head of Technology Martin Hilgers.

The start-up has been around since 2018 and aims to help its customers make their everyday lives more sustainable, healthier and safer. To this end, Uptodate launched the Earnest app in September 2020. It helps users to develop new routines. The start-up is part of the Versicherungskammer Group.

Geiling has now also joined the start-up from the parent company. The 42-year-old has worked for Versicherungskammer in various positions since 2010. He initially worked as an auditor, before heading up corporate management at Feuersozietät Berlin Brandenburg. Since 2017, he has worked as a project and department manager. As program manager, he was responsible for the areas of customers and sales. He will continue in this role.

With his network and his experience in customer management and sales, Geiling will now strengthen the collaboration between the start-up and the Versicherungskammer. "Christian will help us to drive forward the joint product and service development with Versicherungskammer and create the conditions for us to optimally process the customer insights that we receive from uptodate customers," says Uptodate Managing Director Jessica Schneider.
