Volders buys competitor Aboalarm

The digital termination service thus becomes the market leader in the area of termination and contract management.

The digital termination service Volders took over its competitor Aboalarm in full back in August. The acquisition has now been made public. According to Volders, the merger makes it the German market leader in the field of contract termination and management. As part of the takeover, the companies also published their business figures for the first time. For example, 110,000 notices of termination are sent to users every month. Annual revenue is in the unspecified eight-figure range.

"Aboalarm is a perfect fit for Volders and the acquisition underlines our declared goal of becoming the leading termination service in the German-speaking market," says Volders CEO and founder Jan Hendrik Ansink. He founded the company in 2014, while Aboalarm was launched in 2008. Both companies offer a termination service for contracts in the areas of internet, mobile communications, insurance and streaming. Together, they claim to have over ten million customers. Both companies operate in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Following the takeover, Volders intends to grow further. The technologies of Volders, Abolaram and the third brand Finlytics for partners from the banking and insurance sector are now to be merged. Marketing and product development will now also be the focus of the combined workforce of more than 50 employees.
