Watttron gets new sales manager

The Freital-based start-up is dedicated to the production of packaging. Now it has landed a new head of sales.

A consumer society still cannot avoid packaging. However, manufacturing can be made more precise, using less material and saving energy. This is what the Freital-based start-up Watttron, which supports the industry in the production of packaging with its heating technology, is working on. Since the beginning of March, it has had a new Head of Sales for international business: Ton Knipscheer. The Dutchman has spent his career in management positions at packaging companies, including Interpak and the Weidenhammer Packaging Group.

"We are building on Mr. Knipscheer's decades of expertise, especially his experience in the packaging industry and the formation of long-term partnerships with well-known brand owners as well as medium-sized co-packers," says Watttron CEO Marcus Stein about his new colleague. "We see the appointment of Ton Knipscheer as very important support for the next big step."
