X2.0 announces the ten AgriTech start-ups selected for the current funding program and launches the 3rd Open Call for HealthTech and BioTech. Sustainable innovations are supported. Application deadline until Sept. 5.

X2.0 has selected ten promising startups in the AgriTech sector that play an important role in the advancement of precision agriculture technologies, including beekeeping and AI-powered chemical spraying. These companies are helping to reduce waste, disease and risk in agriculture while increasing yields. The selected startups are: Agrovisio OU (Estonia), Flypard Analytics GmbH (Germany), Silklytics (Estonia), Beehold (Serbia), ATAR AI (Serbia), Agricom.io (Ireland), Databaum (Germany), Ficosterra (Spain) and Veles Sense (Serbia).

Remarkably, 80% of the selected startups have women in the core team. This underlines X2.0's commitment to gender diversity. Special support is also offered to startups from so-called Widening Countries to strengthen their business opportunities and innovation practices. In the second Open Call, the majority of the selected startups come from such countries.

Innovation and sustainability in the HealthTech and BioTech sector

X2.0 responds to changes in the healthcare sector by mentoring startups to overcome market disruptions and make effective decisions. The aim is to strengthen European BioTech startups, as investment in this area is more limited in Europe compared to the US.

X2.0's third Open Call offers startups in the healthcare and BioTech sector the opportunity to drive their growth in line with industry trends. The application deadline is September 5. The selected startups will receive access to €30,000 in innovation vouchers as well as mentoring and scaling services.

Application and support

Interested startups and SMEs can submit their applications via the F6S platform until September 5. Participation in X2.0 also offers companies the opportunity to find and invest in innovative solutions. All further information and the conditions of participation can be found on the project homepage.

During the program, startups will be matched with experts in various fields, including finance, deep tech/science, business development, communication, internationalization and marketing. The needs of the startups are determined through an independent process and selected service providers are available for selection.

X2.0 remains committed to attracting innovators, service providers and companies to participate in the program.

Project X2.0 was founded by the EU

X2.0 is a growth program for deeptech startups that aims to ensure the growth of EU deeptech startups. It does this through tailored, sector-specific growth programs that catalyze market-ready applications and technology solutions in five key areas: Manufacturing & Circular Economy, AgriTech, HealthTech & BioTech, Smart Cities and Sustainability, and Data & A.I.).
