Twelve million euros for greenery

The delivery service only announced the completion of its seed round in February. Now the company is already raising its next round of funding.
Liefergrün is raising twelve million euros in a Series A financing round. The current round is being led by Ecapital. The existing investors Speedinvest and Norrsken VC as well as a family office are also participating. Liefergrün intends to use the new capital to expand its platform and delivery capacities, improve the product and strengthen its own team and key account sales.
Robin Wingenbach, Niklas Tauch and Max Schleper founded the delivery service in 2020. Liefergrün cooperates with retailers and offers them next-day ship-from-store solutions with real-time tracking of the shipment. The start-up relies on sustainable means of transportation such as cargo bikes or e-vans for deliveries. Its customers already include brands such as Adidas, Dyson and Shop-Apotheke. The start-up only announced a financing round of three million euros in February of this year. The start-up claims to have increased its turnover more than tenfold since the start of the year.
"We are convinced that the company's innovative strength will not only transform the logistics market, but also lead to significant CO2 savings," says Ann-Christin Kortenbrede, Investment Manager at Ecapital.
