Nova Talent secures 3.2 million euros for expansion

The new funding is intended to support the network's international growth and enable the development of a B2B recruiting solution as an alternative to LinkedIn.
Italy, June 2025 - The selective career network Nova Talent has raised 3.2 million euros in a financing round. The round was led by Italian investor CDP Venture Capital. The startup, which was founded in 2020, intends to use the capital to drive its international expansion, develop a new B2B platform and improve app usage through the use of artificial intelligence.
Growth with a strategic focus on Europe and AI
Nova, which claims to have over 25,000 selected members in more than 80 countries worldwide, wants to further expand its presence in Europe. The funds from the current round will help to expand into key European cities while accelerating the technological development of the platform.
Our goal is to create an environment where every connection counts. The new funding validates our model and gives us the resources to further develop our platform and our community.
Andrea Marino, CEO and Co-Founder Nova
The main focus is on optimizing the in-app matching algorithm for members and expanding Nova Recruiter, a B2B SaaS solution designed to offer companies an alternative to traditional recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn.
Investors from Europe and the Middle East
The financing round was led by CDP Venture Capital, specifically from the ServiceTech segment of the Corporate Partners I Fund. BY Venture Partners and angel investors from the Doha Tech Angels network also participated. The new investors will not only provide capital, but also strategic support for the international scaling of the network.
We look forward to supporting Nova in its further growth in Italy and its global expansion.
Laura Scaramella, Head of ServiceTech at CDP Venture Capital
The platform offers a strong proposition for companies to recruit talent more efficiently and thereby increase productivity in the long term.
Selective network with a career focus
Nova was founded by Andrea Marino (Italy), Ramón Rodrigáñez (Spain) and Lars-Henrik Friis Molin (Sweden). Access to the platform is based on a strict selection process which, according to the company, is designed to ensure the quality and relevance of the network contacts. Nova already works with over 800 companies. These include players from sectors such as consulting, banking, venture capital and tech.
The vision: a curated, technology-driven community that acts as a lifetime MBA. According to the provider, this includes networking benefits, exclusive career opportunities and events that go beyond traditional training opportunities.
Positioning as an alternative to LinkedIn
Nova intends to use the fresh capital to consolidate its position as a qualitative addition and, in some cases, alternative to large platforms such as LinkedIn. In the long term, Nova wants to increase the number of talents connected to companies tenfold. Through a combination of selective member choice, technological innovation and an international focus, the network aims to establish itself as a central platform for highly qualified professionals.
