APX joins Givetastic

The venture capitalist from Axel Springer and Porsche is supporting the start-up with an undisclosed sum. Givetastic wants to give companies the opportunity to promote NGOs in cooperation with their employees.
The Hanover-based start-up Givetastic has gained a prominent investor: Venture capitalist APX, which is backed by Axel Springer and Porsche, is investing in the company, which was founded in 2019. The amount of the funding is not yet known.
Givetastic provides companies with an app that allows them to give their employees a donation budget. The employees can then dispose of part of the budget and send the money to an NGO of their choice. The beneficiary NGOs must be on the betterplace.org list. Givetastic receives a commission for its service.
Vidya Munde-Mueller and Viji Villadathu are behind Givetastic. Munde-Mueller previously worked at Volkswagen Consulting and as a product manager at Telekom, while Villadathu was responsible for IT strategy at BNP Paribas Personal Investors.
