The venture capitalist of Axel Springer and Porsche supports the start-up with an unknown sum. Givetastic wants to give companies a way to promote NGOs in cooperation with their employees.

The Hanover-based start-up Givetastic has gained a prominent investor: Venture capitalist APX, backed by Axel Springer and Porsche, is investing in the company, which was founded in 2019. Nothing is known about the amount of the funding so far.

Givetastic provides companies with an app that allows them to give their employees a donation budget. Employees can then each access a portion of the budget and send the money to an NGO of their choice. The beneficiary NGOs must be on the betterplace.org list. Givetastic receives a referral fee for its services.

Vidya Munde-Mueller and Viji Villadathu are behind Givetastic. Munde-Mueller previously worked at Volkswagen Consulting and was a product manager at Telekom, among others, while Villadathu was responsible for IT strategy at BNP Paribas Personal Investors.
