VfL Wolfsburg joins Flow Lab

The Bundesliga football club VfL Wolfsburg joins the mental fitness app Flow Lab as an investor. In addition, the existing investors and business angels, together with the new investor from Wolfsburg and IBB Ventures, give a total of one million euros in a financing round. Previous backers include VC APX, an early-stage investor from Axel Springer and Porsche.

Flow Lab is an app designed to increase mental and emotional fitness. In audio trainings, users can work on dealing with stress and. "The young start-up is an ideal fit for us because, as a Bundesliga football club, we know exactly how important emotional and mental fitness are for optimal performance and increased productivity."

The Berliners' goal is to make mental fitness as socially significant as physical fitness. Flow Lab hopes that the cooperation with VfL will convince a target group with an affinity for sports of their topic and win them over as customers.
