Boom takes over Lemonone

The Berlin-based start-up becomes part of the SaaS company from Milan. Boom wants to gain a foothold in the German market.

The Lemonone platform offers companies professional photo and video shoots. Boom, a software-as-a-service provider, is acquiring the photo-on-demand platform for an undisclosed sum. Boom is thus further expanding its presence in Europe.

Lemonone was founded in 2017 by Maximilian Schwahn, Lorenz Marquardt and Timur Kayaci. Venture capitalists such as Acton Capital and Redalpine were won over by the business model of customized photos and videos for the online presence of online marketplaces, real estate companies and travel and delivery services. Customers include Getyourguide, BNP Paribas and Engel & Völkers. Two million photos have now been produced for customers from over 30 countries.

For Boom, the collaboration with Lemonone represents an opportunity to expand its market: "This is a big step towards establishing BOOM across Europe and beyond.
