Boom takes over Lemonone

The Berlin startup becomes part of the SaaS company from Milan. Boom thus wants to gain a foothold on the German market.

The Lemonone platform offers companies professional image and video shoots. For an undisclosed sum, Boom, a software-as-a-service provider, acquires the photo-on-demand platform. Boom is thus further expanding its presence in Europe.

In 2017, Lemonone was founded by Maximilian Schwahn, Lorenz Marquardt and Timur Kayaci. Venture capitalists such as Acton Capital and Redalpine were convinced by the business model of customized photos and videos for the internet presence of online marketplaces, real estate companies and travel and delivery services. Customers include Getyourguide, BNP Paribas and Engel & Völkers. Two million photos have now been produced for clients in over 30 countries.

For Boom, the collaboration with Lemonone represents an opportunity to grow their market: "This is a big step on the way to establishing BOOM throughout Europe and beyond.
