The SaaS start-up Bird Eats Bug from Berlin was only founded in September. Now it is receiving an investment worth millions.

The software start-up Bird Eats Bug receives 1.5 million euros from Nauta Capital. The start-up helps companies with bugs, i.e. software errors. Employees can easily report problems to the IT department of the respective company using the tool developed.

"We were impressed by the quality of the product and the design at such an early stage," says Guillem Sague from Nauta Capital. "We love being the first partner of product-focused entrepreneurs." Bird Eats Bug was only founded in September 2020 by Francisco Lourenço, Jacky Chung and Dan Makarov.

According to a study by Cambridge University, developers spend around half their time searching for bugs. This costs companies more than 300 billion US dollars a year. Bird Eats Bug aims to reduce this time-consuming search. So far, 30,000 bugs have been reported via the tool. 500 companies use the service.
