The SaaS start-up Bird Eats Bug from Berlin was only founded in September. Now it's getting a million-dollar investment.

Software start-up Bird Eats Bug is receiving €1.5 million from Nauta Capital. The start-up helps companies with bugs, i.e. software errors. Through the developed tool, employees can easily report problems to the IT department of the respective company.

"We were impressed with the quality of the product and the design at such an early stage," says Guillem Sague of Nauta Capital. "We love being the first partner of product-focused entrepreneurs." Bird Eats Bug was just founded in September 2020 by Francisco Lourenço, Jacky Chung and Dan Makarov.

According to a Cambridge University study, developers spend about half their time looking for bugs. This costs companies more than $300 billion annually. Bird Eats Bug aims to reduce this time-consuming search. So far, 30,000 bugs have already been reported via the tool. 500 companies use the service.
