1.68 million euros for Industrial Technology and Witchcraft

Thilo Hardt and Tony Twyman are pursuing their passion for developing games with their start-up. Now they are receiving capital.
Berlin-based game developer Industrial Technology and Witchcraft has closed a seed financing round worth 1.68 million euros. Investments were made by High-Tech Gründerfonds, London-based venture capital firm DN Capital and BLN Capital, the family office of Kolibri Games founders Daniel Stammler, Oliver Löffler and Janosch Sadowski.
The start-up develops video games based on pixels and voxels. Industrial Technology and Witchcraft intends to use the capital from the financing round to develop new games and soundtracks.
The start-up was founded by Thilo Hardt and Tony Twyman. It is already Hardt's third company. In 2007, he co-founded the online optician Mister Spex, followed by the software company eWings in 2013. Five years after its launch, he sold eWings to American Express GBT. Both companies were supported by High-Tech Gründerfonds. "The HTGF team was the first to be convinced to invest in Mister Spex and eWings.com. Now I am delighted that we will be working together for the third time," says Hardt.
