BMH and Scalehouse Capital, together with OHA, have provided seed financing of 1.8 million euros for Ankaadia. Ankaadia is a software solution that specializes in the recruitment and integration of international professionals.

Wiesbaden - Ankaadia GmbH was founded in 2021 by Stefan Reininger, Dr. Jan Wilmanns and Fabio Enge to combat the nursing shortage in the healthcare sector. Previously, the complex recruitment and integration processes for international professionals were carried out in an analogous manner, which involved a great deal of bureaucracy and time. Ankaadia now offers a software solution to digitize, automate and accelerate these processes.

Thanks to our new partners, we can continue to develop our platform at an accelerated pace and thus simplify and reduce bureaucracy in employment migration processes even more effectively

Stefan Reininger, Founder Ankaadia

The company connects all relevant parties such as hospitals, care homes, agencies, authorities, language schools and skilled workers themselves. A central, digital platform enables the data protection-compliant management of all processes in one place. Employers can view the migration status of their candidates and obtain an overview of the expected availability of specialist staff. The platform also offers functions such as reporting, task management and process definition as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

We assume that the market for employment migration services will grow to a total of around 4 billion euros p.a. by 2030

Dirk Pieper, Investment Manager at BMH

BMH Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen mbH, Scalehouse Capital and OHA Osnabrück Healthcare Beteiligungs GmbH are co-lead investors in Ankaadia GmbH. The startup from Hesse has developed a software solution that digitizes and automates the process of recruiting, recognizing and integrating international specialists, especially nurses. Ankaadia acts as a technology service provider and does not place any specialists itself. The capital raised will be used to expand the sales structures and for further product development.

We are convinced that the strong founding team can make an important contribution to simplifying and thus solving the shortage of skilled workers in industrialized nations

Jesse Jeng, Managing Partner Scalehouse Capital

Ankaadia is currently the only provider specializing in the digitalization of employment migration processes from third countries. The company is already used by over 200 recruitment agencies and employers in the healthcare sector and has a total of over 2,800 users. Ankaadia was awarded the Rheingauer Gründungspreis 2022 and the E-Health Award of the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration 2023 for its innovative system.
