2trde raises seven million euros

The start-up has won over an Ebay classifieds investor with its software for selling used cars.
The Munich-based start-up 2trde has received seven million euros in its seed financing round. The lead investor in the round is Norway's Adevinta Ventures, which also owns Ebay Classifieds. The existing investors Aster Capital and Maniv Mobility are participating again.
Johannes Stoffel and Marcus Lankenau founded the start-up in 2017. 2trde is currently based in Munich and employs 15 people. The founders offer a software solution for car dealerships, leasing companies and manufacturers that is designed to help sell more used cars. With the software, sellers can offer their used cars on several auction platforms at the same time and thus have less administrative work. According to the company, it has a four-digit number of customers and serves almost 55,000 dealers and trade partners throughout Europe.
Stoffel is delighted to have Adevinta Ventures as a new strategic partner. "The experience and industry knowledge of the Adevinta Ventures team will enable us to build on our strong foundation and accelerate our online and international growth plans," says Stoffel. The start-up intends to use the new capital to finance both expansion abroad and new staff.
