Airbank gets $20 million

The Berlin-based fintech successfully closes its Series A financing round and now wants to expand its team.
The fintech Airbank has raised 20 million US dollars. The Series A financing round was led by Molten Ventures, with business angels Bruce Wallace, Guillaume Cabane and Axel Wieandt also contributing capital.
Airbank intends to use the money to expand its team. The start-up is developing a financial platform for founders and CFOs to track cash flow, automate payments, process expenses and speed up accounting. Airbank was founded by Christopher Zemina and Patrick Castro.
Vinoth Jayakumar of Molten Ventures said: "Airbank is clearly the only software-first company we've come across that offers its customers a complete financial management solution that enables better insights and automation."
