The nomadi rental platform has successfully completed a seed financing round. The startup focuses on the sharing economy and offers parents an alternative to buying baby and children's products.

Potsdam/Brandenburg an der Havel, 12 February 2025 - The rental platform nomadi, which specializes in the flexible rental of baby and children's products, has successfully completed a seed financing round. In addition to TV investor Janna Ensthaler, Carsten Puschmann and Brandenburg Kapital also participated in the round. In addition, a portion of the funds is matched by a partnership with Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Berlin-Brandenburg.

The platform makes it possible to rent high-quality items flexibly - a concept that not only saves money and space, but also conserves resources. nomadi currently lists over 300 products from 60 manufacturers, with the range growing every month.

Growth despite a stagnating market

Founded in 2021 by Kristina and Manuel Heinemann, nomadi is based on the couple's own experiences as parents. While the overall market is stagnating, nomadi was able to grow by 270% in 2024 and has set itself even higher targets for 2025. The new investments will be used to further develop the platform and promote sustainable consumption in this area. The exact amount of the seed funding was not disclosed.
