AMCS wants to take over Quentic

The two companies are still waiting for approval from the authorities. Together they want to develop new sustainable solutions.

The software and vehicle technology provider AMCS has agreed a takeover with the Berlin start-up Quentic. The two companies are currently still waiting for approval from the authorities. AMCS and Quentic are not disclosing the purchase price.

Markus Becker, Sebastian Mönnich and Hardy Menzel founded Quentic in 2007. The start-up offers a software solution for tasks and processes in the areas of occupational safety and environmental and quality management (ESG) and helps companies to achieve their ESG goals. One Peak, Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and High-Tech Gründerfonds invested in the development of the start-up.

AMCS offers software and vehicle technology for the environmental, recycling and resource industries. With the acquisition of Quentic, the company is expanding its offering and strengthening its market position. Together with AMCS, the Quentic management team will develop further sustainable solutions.
