AMCS wants to acquire Quentic

The two companies are still waiting for approval from the authorities. Together, they want to develop new sustainable solutions.

The software and vehicle technology provider AMCS has agreed on a takeover with the Berlin-based start-up Quentic. Currently, the two companies are still waiting for approval from the authorities. AMCS and Quentic are keeping quiet about the purchase price.

Markus Becker, Sebastian Mönnich and Hardy Menzel founded Quentic in 2007, a startup that offers a software solution for occupational safety and environmental and quality management (ESM) tasks and processes, helping companies achieve their ESG goals. One Peak, Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and High-Tech Gründerfonds invested in the start-up's development.

AMCS provides software and vehicle technology for the environmental, recycling and resource industries. With the acquisition of Quentic, the company expands its offering and strengthens its market position. Together with AMCS, Quentic's management team will develop further sustainable solutions.
